Paintings from the Texas Hill Country near Fredericksburg all started when I was included as one of the permanent artists at InSight Gallery in Fredericksburg. As I visited at different times of the years, I found a wealth of new inspiration in a new type of landscape. I've always been drawn to pastoral scenes and country farmlands. There is a unique beauty and aesthetic principle to rolling hills and cows grazing on a lazy day. In the spring you might see my easel with me painting on the side of road overlooking bluebonnets and prickly pear cactus while taking in the shade of an old live oak tree.
